THE EARTHQUAKE AND FLOOD

In 1933 during the Great Depression that rocked every area, a real physical rocking occurred on the evening of March 10th. An earthquake centered off the coast of Newport Beach did such damage to the city of Long Beach that the quake was named for that city. Every masonry building in Buena Park was badly damaged.
